Job Description
If you’re an experienced support worker who’s looking for a new professional challenge, think about moving to Castlebeck – and joining our independent 16-bed hospital, Cedar Vale.
This hospital specialises in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. Join its large and proactive team, and you’ll work closely with nurses to deliver personally-tailored care plans – helping clients to develop the skills they need to live independently in the community.
Whether you’re helping clients to access services, get involved in arts and crafts, learn to cook or build their general life skills, you’ll remember that every individual is different – there’s no set timescale for progress, and our clients all learn and develop at their own speed.
Qualified to NVQ2 or higher, you’ll work well in a team, and will be able to cope with challenging behaviour – both physical and verbal. Working both day and night shifts, you’ll be fully supported by the rest of the team, and will receive specialist training in areas such as autism and signing.
If you’ve got what it takes, this is a great opportunity to develop your career with a highly successful company that’s growing all the time.
