As an immensely successful and award-winning national organisation with over 20 years’ experience, Castlebeck provides long-term individual care to people with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are now opening a new unit for people who are experiencing neurobehavioural difficulties due to an acquired brain injury. Accommodating fifteen men and women, many of whom have enduring behavioural problems, the new unit will combine a positive approach in behavioural support with a broad range of clinical treatments for patients with cognitive, behavioural, physical and social rehabilitation needs following a brain injury.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic, forward-thinking nurse to be at the forefront of the development of this new multi-disciplinary speciality for Castlebeck. An RNLD or RMN with management experience, which will include supervisory skills, staff and patient management and effective use of resources within budget limitations, you will be in a position to actively support the hospital manager and junior members of the management team. Clinical experience and knowledge of the Mental Health Act are essential, while experience in Acquired Brain Injuries would be advantageous.
