Job Description

 

Castlebeck needs good people, with or without experience, to join our teams of professionals, making a real difference to the lives of people with an acquired brain injury.

In the role of rehabilitation assistant, it is your job to enable our patients to re-learn skills lost to them due to the effects of a brain injury. This will include working with people on a one to one therapy basis or in small groups to maximise their individual potential. Rehabilitation may take place in many domains such as behavioural, cognitive, physical, emotional, social and vocational and requires patience, commitment and dedication. Rehabilitation assistants work within the guidance of registered nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapist and speech and language therapists as well as that of our psychiatric and medical consultants. Team work and good communication skills are a key part of how we succeed.

Previous experience is not a requirement as training to NVQ Level III will be given. For those who wish to progress further there is every opportunity to do so.

However, if you are someone with experience / relevant qualifications, the remuneration package will reflect this.
