Job Description

 

 

Glyn Rhosyn Residential Care Home with Nursing will support 10 men, living in their community, as they move along their own individual care pathways towards more independent living. As well as eight en-suite bedrooms, there will be a two-bedroom self-contained flat where there will be an even greater emphasis on learning independent living skills in preparation for a move into a residential or community service.

Working closely with a kitchen assistant, you'll provide residents and staff with three healthy, nutritious and balanced meals a day. We'll expect you to work on a rota covering bank holidays and weekends, as part of friendly and flexible team.

An experienced chef with a track record of planning menus, ordering and safe storage of food, you'll need to be a good team player with effective leadership skills and an in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental health.
